Along with Kan'ei-ji Temple in Ueno, Zojo-ji Temple in Shiba was

the family temple of the Shogun family, and the surrounding area was also considered to

be a good location for the land, which is why many temples were founded there. 

In the foreground, a group of people sightseeing in Edo are depicted

with expressive faces.

On the far left is the Zojo-ji Temple Daimon Gate, and on the right is

Shiba Shinmeisha Shrine.

 

One Hundred Famous Views of Edo  is a series of ukiyo-e prints

begun and largely completed by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797~1858)

were reproduced in 1998-2004

Never rolled up.

Never framed, kept in professional condition.
