"Utsuyama" is a pass between Mariko and Okabe.
Around here, there is an old road called "Tsutano Hosomichi"
that runs parallel to the Tokaido.
It is a mountain road about one ri long,
but the mountains on both sides still feel steep even today.
The village of Utsuyama is in the background, not Okabe-juku.
The 53 Stations of the Tōkaidō (Hoeido-Ban) were reproduced
by Tokyo traditional woodcut craft Association
These traditional woodblock prints were reproduced exactly as the first edition
at Edo-Tokyo Museum have by many of top skilled craftsmen
like a dream team in Japan.
