From The 53 Stations of the Tōkaidō (Hoeido-Edition)

Kanagawa-shuku was located on a plateau northeast of the current center of Yokohama.

Teahouses that sold the scenery lined the roads through the post town,

and some of these are still operating as restaurants today.

The area on the left side of this map corresponds to the area around Yokohama Station,

 and the scenery is completely different from what it is today.

The 53 Stations of the Tōkaidō (Hoeido-Ban) were reproduced

by Tokyo traditional woodcut craft Association

These traditional woodblock prints were reproduced exactly as the first edition

at Edo-Tokyo Museum have by many of top skilled craftsmen

like a dream team in Japan.
