"Kawaguchi no Watashi" is a ferry crossing on the Arakawa River on
the Iwatsuki Kaido road, and is also called Onarimichi,
as the shogun passed through this road when he visited Nikko.
The top right corner of the picture is Zenkoji Temple, which,
like Zenkoji Temple in Shinano, enshrines Amida Nyorai.
It is said that many worshippers came from all over Edo.
One Hundred Famous Views of Edo is a series of ukiyo-e prints
begun and largely completed by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797~1858)
