From Series - Rare Views of Famous Japanese Bridges
The bridge in Fukui is Tsukumobashi Bridge, which spans the Asuwa River in Fukui City.
As you can see from the picture, it is a unique bridge,
consisting of a stone sleeve and a wooden middle section.
On the opposite bank, hosho paper (Japanese paper), a specialty of Echizen,
is drying, but since it is produced in a different area,
it seems that Hokusai added it himself.
Hokusai Series of Rare View of Famous Japanese Bridges were reproduced
by Tokyo traditional woodcut craft Association
These traditional woodblock prints were reproduced exactly as the first edition
at Edo-Tokyo Museum have by many of top skilled craftsmen
like a dream team in Japan.
