From Series - Rare Views of Famous Japanese Bridges
Tempozan is an artificial hill made from soil and sand excavated during the construction
of the Yodo River.
Because it was built at the mouth of the Aji River (Aji River) close to the sea,
it offered a panoramic view of Osaka Bay and was a popular tourist destination.
This painting was probably created with the intention of creating
a panoramic image rather than a picture of a bridge.
