Kimoji Temple is the site of the grave of Umewakamaru, a popular character in a play,
and is an essential spot for outings along the Sumida River,
along with Suijinja Shrine and Migo Shrine.
The area nearby forms an inlet that connects to the Sumida River,
and was called Uchikawa.
In the distance is a vegetable garden for the shogun family called "Gozen Saihata."
One Hundred Famous Views of Edo is a series of ukiyo-e prints
begun and largely completed by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797~1858)
