The waterway in the center is the Kyobashi River, which connects to Edo Castle

and is now filled in.

The upstream area is called "Kyobashi Bamboo Bridge" and it connected to

the commercial area with many cargo boats passing through.

The Inari Bridge in the center spans the mouth of the river.

The red wall is Minato Shrine, which was called "Namiyoke Inari."

 

 

One Hundred Famous Views of Edo  is a series of ukiyo-e prints

begun and largely completed by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797~1858)

Only perfect condition one. 

Never rolled up.

Never framed, kept in professional condition.
