From One Hundred Famous Views of Edo

When crossing the Tama River to visit Kawasaki Daishi, one crosses

the "Haneta (Haneda) no Watashi" (Haneda boat).

This painting looks towards the Boso region from where

Haneda Airport is currently located.

Benzaiten can be seen beside the boatman,

and the Boso mountains can be seen far out at sea.

One Hundred Famous Views of Edo  is a series of ukiyo-e prints

begun and largely completed by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797~1858)

Never rolled up.

Never framed, kept in professional condition.
