On the lower left you can see Komagata Hall, where the Bato Kannon is enshrined.

As well as being the protector of horses, it is also widely revered as a deity that protects

safe travels. Sharp raindrops begin to appear on the approaching black clouds.

 Hiroshige's brilliant depiction of this tense moment is truly extraordinary.

begun and largely completed by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797~1858)
