From One Hundred Famous Views of Edo

This is a depiction of the "Oyasashiki" ceremony, which is held every year on January 3rd

 at Atago Shrine to worship the local god.

The ceremony was held in a unique style, with participants using large rice scoops as

 walking sticks and wearing helmets made from New Year's decorations.

At that time, Mount Atago was apparently able to overlook Edo Bay,

as shown in this picture.

One Hundred Famous Views of Edo  is a series of ukiyo-e prints

begun and largely completed by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797~1858)

were reproduced in 1998-2004

by Tokyo traditional woodcut craft Association

Only perfect condition one.　

Never rolled up.

Never framed, kept in professional condition.
